After hearing about the settling asphalt at the Community Food Pantry parking lot in West Long Branch, NJ, our team decided to lend a helping hand. As a part of our Power Patch Gives Back program, we donated this project to ensure that the food bank volunteers could safely and efficiently stock and hand out items for those in need. We eliminated 2 large trip hazards by making the asphalt level with the concrete at the 2 entrance points to the food pantry.

Additionally, we were able to fix a drainage issue that was caused by the asphalt settling by the building. Once the patches were complete, we had the repaired areas of the parking lot line striped as well.

We’re so glad that we had the opportunity to help the team of wonderful volunteers!

The Power Patch team is always looking to help those in need- if you know of an organization or individual that could use our help, please email [email protected].
